I have strong feelings about fake vs. live plants.

Live are superior in every way.

But if you absolutely must fake it (are you sure?), here are a few tips to make it work.

Choose the best substitutes

• Silk flowers

Be sure to purchase quality fabrics for the most beautiful alternative to live plants.

Tips for faux florals: 

• Be sure the product is fabric for the most realistic look. Silk is always luxe. 

• Buy single stems when possible. 

• Metal stems are great to manipulate. 

• Need to fake water in a clear vase? Add a liner or film to the face to give the illusion that it’s full. No faux-water-in-vase options. The “water” will collect dust and turn yellow over time.
